I LOVE Man vs. Wild. Bear Grylls - that's a man's name - travels around the world and shows me (yes, ME!!...oh, okay, others too) how to survive in the wilderness...hot, cold...you know, wilderness.
It hasn't been on for a while and I'm experiencing withdrawal symptoms. It won't be back on until April 18!!! The good news is...when it comes back, it will be in marathon-format! :) Well, not really a marathon...three in a row for three nights, I think.
I'm debating whether or not I should buy Man vs. Wild Season 1 on DVD...

You are quite funny. There was a story a while back where someone had found a place somewhere in Hawaii where they had filmed Man vs. Wild. It was in an old lava field that was less than a mile from a road that tourists usually drive through. Ha, ha!! I think you might be able to find it in YouTube.
